Everyone is now encouraged to upgrade to version 3.083_C

We encourage even 3.x to 3.x upgrades to do a full install, since more than just the executables have been updated.

This page has instructions for upgrading a Repetrel v3 install to the latest Repetrel software. Associated applications, drivers, and environment should all be in good order from the previous install.

Preliminary Steps

• Save any files that you want to keep, especially gcode and stl files. Recipes will be saved.
• This includes your Printer Settings file:
  • For a 3>3 upgrade, go to Settings > Printer and save your configuration to a file with a name unique to your environment (example: Acme_Lab_West), so that we can easily find it later. This file should be in the default C:\Repetrel\Printer Settings directory.

These steps should each be done in order, and run as administrator.

Install Ecosystem Apps

If this is an upgrade to a working environment, you should skip this step.

If you need to perform it, the instructions are on the New Install page.

Upgrade Repetrel Binaries

This downloads the current bin (binaries) directory, for Repetrel 3.082_I with firmware 3.082), the latest as of 15 Oct 2018.

Rename C:\Repetrel\bin to C:\Repetrel\bin_old, uncompress this downloaded file, and place it at C:\Repetrel.

Your path to Repetrel.exe should be: C:\Repetrel\bin\Repetrel.exe (capitalization may differ).

Install Drivers

If this is an upgrade to a working environment, you should skip this step.

If you need to perform it, the instructions are on the New Install page.

Configure Slic3r

If this is an upgrade to a working environment, you should skip this step.

If you need to perform it, the instructions are on the New Install page. click OK.

Flash Firmware

Launch Repetrel and follow the instructions at Firmware to flash the Motion Controller
